Welcome to the Crypto Creator course, in this course I am going to show you how you can turn your genuine interests for cryptocurrency and related things into a one-person income generating busines. 

This entire course is based of my success and experience in the realm of creating content online for around 3 years now and will help you learn from my mistakes without having to fail as much as I did… not that you wont fail, more on that later though.

By purchasing this course you have taken a step in the direction to participating in making something for not only yourself, but others too… and you can profit from it heavily (while maintaining your passion and integrity.

We are mainly going to be focusing on how you can do this all by yourself and how you can go from a noob in creating content about your interests to attracting an audience around the things you like to learn about on a day to day basis and monitize it.

One person businesses are awesome, having my own time to choose where i spend it is the most liberating feeling, and I truly believe more people can achieve this lifestyle by creating more and building a personal brand around their own interests; Im one example so far, and there are thousands of others working for themselves inside of the crypto industry.

Now, enough fluff, lets dive into the course.

So, why should you create? Why should anyone.

Why Create?

 I know what you’re thinking: “Oh another fluff piece on mindset and how everything I'm doing is wrong and I need to change” — well yeah, kind of. 
    
This section isn't mandatory by any means, it's more for support if you are feeling a bit lost especially if you get stuck along your journey, you can come back to this section… I'm not an expert on all things mindset but I have trains of thoughts in my mind that have helped me be 10x more productive with my output as a creator by reinforcing things within my mindset. 
    
Mindset really is everything at the end of the day, but also remember: the point of this course is to allow you to still have fun and follow your genuine interests in crypto while making a business around yourself. Now… let's talk about mindset.
    
- Section 1: Assessing where you are now.
    
    So, you’ve just bought this course and are a bit tired of the same unactionable mindset advice… well, me too. 
    
    There’s no way I can transform the way you think with one video or some words, but rather all this section is trying to do is have you challenge yourself and where you are now to be a little bit better off than you were yesterday. 
    
    There are likely going to be points you do not see instant results or you are unmotivated to create (I know because I go through this often too)… realizing, where you are now, is the most important thing to discovering what to do next in any progressive situation. 
    
    If you haven't created things on social media (written, made videos, or built an audience) before then that's no worries we are going to go over all that in the other parts of the course, this part is about mindset and noting where you are now in terms of the following.
    
    - **Do you believe you can become a successful creator and make money on the Internet?** — *whether you think you can or can't, you’re right… believing that it's possible is the first step to putting in the work to make it happen.*
    - **What has stopped you from creating something for yourself up until now?** — *whatever has stopped you up until now from creating for yourself is important to note, you’ll likely be battling with this in your head again and again, and realizing this will help you get less distracted by it.*
    - **Are you scared of any failure that you may adverse?** — *likely things won't always work right away, are you scared of having to go through many iterations before finding what works for your chosen interest? why?*
    - **How much do you care about what others think?** — *public-facing brand = a lot of feedback, some of which is not so nice.. this is a GOOD thing though.*
    
    Thinking about these things and taking a mental note of where you are at now will help you stay consistent on your creator journey when you doubt yourself.
    
- Section 2: Realizing everyone is just like you
    
    as the section heading suggests, everyone is just like you. myself included and the people who’ve gotten lucky or seen success as a creator on the internet, all of the people making this a full time job; they started were you are now: with no content and they just STARTED.
    
    When i first started making youtube videos i was happy to get over 10 views on a video, i would be jumping up and down if i got to 20 views on a video… that was for my first 30 videos, & i kept making videos about what I was learning at the time, with no knowledge of youtube or how to write a good title, nothing but me documenting myself and what I was interested in.
    
    After simply CREATING and posting it so i could be help publicly accountable, or rather start building a public presece (criticial for any creator wanting to make a living), things started to click. I realized that what I had been doing although it didnt pay off until months of work, was all worth the effort. 
    
    Everyone on the internet trying to make a name for themselves was once i nobody, so getting started and putting out content and continuing to do so is all you need to do to be on your way to getting your own following and presence in the space around your interests. Most people arent creating, they are like the majority who just want to sit back relax and consume all day, a very few  % (hopefully you) will actually snap out of that loop and create something for others.
    
- Section 3: Becoming a Creator
    
    Becoming a creator from a mindset point of view:
    
    - remind yourself that you want to inform others about your thoughts and experiences, and take notes (mental or physical) on how you can best portray your experience to better others
    - remember that 80% of people are at a beginner level, so anything past that or that you have knowledge of is likely useful and insightful, people also need to be reminded, so don't be afraid of saying the same things in different ways to get your points across and give insight to people not at your level in knowledge
    - take into account that your experiences and knowledge in your interests is usually always interesting to someone else, especially on the internet.
    - using time in the day to think of how your interests apply to others, even people not in your domain (widening your reach)
    - on a less mindset route: take action, and actually… create things. ideally consistently — the truth is you are probably suffering more in your imagination when it comes to creating content than if you actually just started writing or hit record, once you start, it comes together, I go through these motions all the time still too.
    - we are built to create
- Section 4: Sticking with it
    
    Like doing anything worthwhile there are going to be times that you aren't sure if this is for you, if you can really manage to make something out of this, if it's possible for you to succeed at being a creator, etc, etc. This is normal and everyone thinks these thoughts at first.
    
    I still do from time to time even after making it my full-time occupation, and you aren't always going to want to do the work that is needed every day. The most important part of creating is remaining on course MOST of the time, and each day making progress of some sort to building your own path on the creator journey.
    
    Stick with it, and don't quit, that's the only way you're going to make it worthwhile, you never know when you are on the verge of a breakthrough.

- Section 5: Pivoting
    
    Pivoting is crucial, and having the idea of it in your mind is the only way you'll be able to be on the go and with ease. 
    
    Not every single idea you come up with for content or a new method of making content will be a hit, some parts of your creative process may be receptive to an audience but you are going to need to improve as you go and this requires you to pivot.
    
    Pivoting can be as simple as seeing your content get more attention when you add more time and effort to the hook, or the title/ clickability of your content and then doubling down on the things that work and leaving other methodologies behind.
    
    Pivoting may also be in your day-to-day habits, what can you change that works best for you to get more work done? take note of the things that work and pivot your brain and content more toward those.
    
    later in the course, I will go over pivoting more especially in regard to specific content types and being more flexible as a creator to maximize your reach.
    
- Section 6: Burning out
    
    this happens in every domain to everyone, no matter how passionate you are about something you likely are always going to endure some sort of burnout phase. 
    
    What is a completely normal experience often gets treated by people in the process of burnout as the point of failure. I've gotten burnt out many times in the past 3 years making hundreds of videos but the one thing that got me out of the burnout? nothing. 
    
    Nothing I did differently changes how quickly I got out of a burnt-out phase, I tried taking breaks, keeping on my making of content like I wasn't burnt out, and everything in between but what mattered most was controlling your pace so you are far less likely to burn out. 
    
    Setting big goals is great, and daily actions to achieve them too, but you need time for your brain to wonder, learn, and to be experiencing the things you enjoy and interests you like outside of just making them into content. 
    
    Once I let myself think about things other than making youtube videos I found myself getting burnt out a lot less often, following my genuine curiosity was always the most important part, and it makes for much better content.
    
    In short: if you get burnt out, take a small break, or keep making content, just don't stop for too long, get back on the creation habit sooner than later because you'll probably never “feel like it” at first. — and oh yeah: do less work, don't overdo it all the time, take leisure time every day, and just make sure you're also getting things done to progress towards your creation goals. 
    
- Section 7: Setting Goals
    
    A simple system I use to keep myself aware of where I’m at in my business and operations is to set goals and track my thoughts consistently — this helps most when I'm not in the mood to create or feel lazy to have a reminder of what I need to strive towards.
    
    Example goals & reflection questions for your creator business to write down somewhere you can check in on them frequently (I use notion)
    
    The most productive and progressive version of me has always been enabled by goals and reminders of why I’m doing the daily work I do each day without grudging about it when I feel lazy or unmotivated.
    
    **EXAMPLE GOALS + REFLECTION QUESTIONS**
    How much money do I want to make per month? 
    + Include things you are working on to increase your income as a creator, you don't have to hit this number next month or today, but having a target helps you aim.
    
    Why do I want to run my own one-person business?
    - this question is a great one to remind yourself why you’re doing what you are doing… whether its to escape the 9-5, follow your true passions while making money, or allow yourself the ability to scale your income outside of just crypto prices unpredictability. 
    
    How many pieces of content do I want to create each week?
    - this might not be something you can answer right away, but set a number anyways, if you find it impossible or not right then you can adjust this as need be, but set a goal now for this anyways so you're reminded to not only consume but also to create. If you don't create things, how will anyone find you and connect with your growing personal brand?

    — this is important to gauge your progress too, it is very slow at first I know, but using a system for goals will help you get past that first big step and once things do start rolling it creates an avalanche, especially on YouTube or other long-form based platforms as you build up your personal brand with a public portfolio of content created by you.
    
    Set goals in relation to your life outside of work & for your physical + mental health too, you can't be all work and no play.
    
- Section 8: Just do it.
    
    I delayed making videos or any stride toward my ideal future of working for myself because I was scared of what others would think...
    
    I just did it: started posting every day & creating, and it became easier. It doesn't have to be perfect
    
    ### Overcoming daily temporary struggle
    
    Every day still i have many moments where I drag my feet & don’t want to do something. 
    
    Overcoming these moments is the key to everything at the end of the day, the little things do matter & they will decide if you become 1% better that day or not. 
    
    lately, I’ve been using Pomodoro to complete work efficiently through [pomo-focus](https://pomofocus.io/) (100% free.)
    
    Below is a simple guide on how I use the task system to make sure I stay on track & get the important things done.

Creator Mindset

Defining your brand is important, let's go over why & how you can do it.

**Why define your brand?**

Picking interests that the content you create is centered around allows people coming to you to know why they are following you & lets you become more organized in the content you create.

Once I laid out my main interests creating not only became much easier but the numbers followed because people knew what they were coming to my content for most of the time & could subscribe to that if they liked what they consumed.

**How to define your brand**

**First,** write down all of your main passions or interests. You can do this on a new notion page or a peice of paper even. Below are mine.

Next, narrow this down to three. Yep, just three. These top 3 should ideally have some sort of way you can mix them together and intersect the interests with one another. It doesn't have to be perfect, but the more they complement each other or you think you can mix them together when making content, the better.

These 3 interests will be the pillars of every piece of your content so you can tell the people looking in on you what you’re about and they can more easily decide if they want to subscribe to your interests and explore them with you, or not (the ***or not*** is a good thing, you don’t want every single person thinking they want to listen to you, but actually won't)


Then after you’ve gotten your pillars and core interests and passions down (which you can change if you feel like you should, you arent locked or stuck into these by any means) now you can start generating your core ideas, value, and beliefs around these pillars, as shown below ⬇

These main ideas that you have will help structure every piece of content you make and can be drawn upon when you need inspiration or a reminder of the direction you’re trying to take. 

I find this approach also helps you keep your scope a bid broader so more people will be able to understand or find value in the content you put out (because you’re coming from a point of base-level understanding and expanding from there more often than not)

Keeping your core values intertwined in your content lets people understand where you stand on topics and decide if they enjoy you or not (get the people who like you on board with you, and those that don't can go elsewhere, you can't please everyone.)

Extra things to note

This isnt required but it helped me alot to build an audience who knows what they are getting, I even followed this sort of method without trying earlier in my youtube days and having a core interest & letting it be known helps a lot to foster the right audience.

Another great methodology is to build a brand based on your core values and things most important to you & then your audience will tend to be interested in all things you may talk about or cover.

Shoutout to NFT God on Twitter for putting this idea in my head & systemized approach to crafting a personal brand with the intention to attract the right people with a strong message.

I went along without a real aim of a brand and ended up feeling lost. I know this exercise may feel hard or make you feel like you have to copy someone else, but going with the things you care about best path forward to remaining fulfilled and having fun while creating (most of the time)

Exploring these ideas and what you value most at the very least will likely inspire you to think about what matters most to you and have some thoughts you can create content around, I know it did for me.

Now that you have 3 pillars it will be much easier to craft your bio & vision on what you’re going to create for others to decide at first glance if they want to hop on board & attract your ideal audience.

be able to come up with a plan and strategy to grow your audience on short-form content platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc) so you can expand your reach of other more long-form content platforms & so you understand the importance of each part of having a content hierarchy.

If you want to maximize your growth & make posting on all platforms easy & then this hierarchy is an amazing content formula to follow when making content & will help you break down everything you make into multiple platforms.

The basic hierarchy is as follows:

Essentially if you’re making a podcast, newsletter, or article you can turn this into a YouTube video. Then you can turn the YouTube video into a Twitter thread, a tweet, & a linked-in post. Then take your tweet, and turn it into a TikTok, YouTube short, or Instagram real (upload to all three, why not!)

Now when you write a newsletter you can turn this into a youtube video, 5-10+ tweets (or a big thread), a LinkedIn post, then each tweet can be its own tiktok around the core concept, a youtube short & an instagram real.

1 newsletter (or maybe you started with a YouTube video) turns into 25-50+ pieces of unique content uploaded across multiple sites

We’ll talk more about how you can choose to prioritize platforms for certain goals in the next section.

The Content Hierarchy

The overall purpose of your content should be to provide value in some form. 

However, the content you create most often falls under 1 of 4 purposes **for yourself** & for your brand. This is where we differentiate the purposed and types of content that you create.

4 purposes of your content for you

- grow your audience (catch attention, then provide value)

- establish your brand (show your interests & expertise)

- show authenticity (show your human, & create content with depth)

- create authority (results-driven, things you sell or have created)

Short-form content is the biggest culprit for growth-based content. If you’re just getting started growing a brand or creating content it’s going to be very difficult to grow your brand if you are just posting videos on youtube, recording podcasts, or writing a newsletter. In order to get attention to those mediums of your brand you need a hook to get people's attention. This is what short-form content is in your toolkit as a creator… the first place people find you and can expand to your other content. 

After you have people interested you can then direct them to your long-form creations: newsletter, youtube video, podcasts. These are the places where you show your authentic self and aren't time restrained to do so. Most of the depth of your brand is revealed here & this is how you gain true fans who are interested in the same things as yourself. 

Establishing your brand can be done throughout all of your content by showing your unique perspective and interests, and especially by making them interesting to other people. To make your interests interesting can be a hard task tho, the start of this lies in the explanation of the basics. what got you interested? how can you sythesize your main contents points with something your interested? 

Example of sythezising interests: I make videos on a specific cryptocurrency, & i’m interested in working for yourself + talking about financial freedom. So i make a spreadsheet that allows people to plug in their investments and calculate how much they need at certain prices to retire, then I make a video on it. See the actual video of where I did this: (and it gained me a TON of subscribers to my YouTube) — i since repurposed the format and had multiple videos using it do well.

This leads us perfectly into the next purpose of content: to create authority. I made a spreadsheet for the above video which helped me build authority. I sold this spreadsheet for FREE on gumroad, all i asked for in return was their email. 

Giving people a tool to use paid or free that helps them is an incredible way to build creditbility and authority in any interest. People now know you for what you’ve given them or helped them with successfully, they are much more likely to follow your other interests now & also back you up if someone questions your creditibility. Not that you should expect that for giving someone a product but it’s a nice added bonus: either way you’re doing this in public so people will see what youve accomplished or made and that alone will give you creditibility in your interests.

Content Lenses

If you want to maximize growth with short form content you will need to make it digestable & this usually means making it simple, or a simplified version of what you are trying to say. The easier anyone can understand your points the more chances they will watch the whole video, the more people watch the video the more it gets exposed to more people, and the more people will follow you.

Mixing in humor & humility (if you can do this on a short time fram without subtracting from the core content) is great to get people hooked as well. Lean in on your unique personality if you can to stand out.

Short form content is only as good as your hook, a tweet with an intriguing punchline but the same contents underneath can get 100x more likes and replies just based on a few words. Same goes for the first 5 seconds of your short form videos. Sparking emotion or intrigue in people is key.

Try for yourself using different typed of openings to see what works best, then recycle the ones that work and change them slightly to make it fit each specific peice of content.

If you remember the first topic in this section we talked about the content hieartchy. In order to grow with short form content you have to make short form content… if you’re struggling to make short form content then lean in on using snippets from your long from content as suggested earlier.

Maximize reach & growth with short form

### How to make short-form videos & upload them with ease.

If you have no idea how to use tiktok, instagram reels, youtube shorts, or facebook reels then don’t worry. In this section, I’ll go over 2 methods to create short-form content from either your phone or PC (or you can mix the two)

**Method 1. *Making Short form content on your PC***

The method I use the most is my computer & an online tool called [Veed.io](http://Veed.io), the free version allows you to do all sorts of amazing things & in the video above I go over how you can make high quality short forms & repurpose them across 5 platforms. (& why you should)

Capcut is also a great option to edit for free on a web browser with a ton of useful templates and tools like auto-captions

**Method 2. *Making Short form content on your phone***

This method Is one I used for awhile & many people with millions of followers use to make tiktoks, you don’t need a super high quality mic and webcam for this & you can make pretty much the same content using your phone, the key ingredient still is your creative ideas & presentation. 

Using capcut you can make videos with popular templates too that perform well & also not have to worry about a watermark on your videos like if you were to edit on tiktok and save from there.

Download the capcut app on your phone & try a template.

I gained 7,000 followers too just using the tiktok editor so if you need to keep it simple, you can.

How to make short form videos with ease

Long-form content is the place where you nurture value & the people who are interested in your content or products. 

People get hooked by the short-form content you make, but in order to make them pay attention to you over time you have to provide them with a high enough level of satisfaction in your content. 

This comes by giving value for free, through educational videos, tutorials on an application, sharing things you've learned in a way people can understand and benefit from, making people laugh, entertaining people through some means, etc… The list goes on to how you could provide value… 

but long-form content is the place where people see the REAL you, this is where you build authenticity so your audience can get to know you and trust your personal brand wherever they may see it. 

Building things in public and showcasing what you learn through long-form content is one of the most effective marketing strategies for a personal brand because it lets anyone see for themselves what you've done and the value you have to offer them through your experience. 

Next up: the value of authenticity.

Long-form Content purpose

authenticity is absolutely critical for anyone making a personal brand and creating content.

Through authenticity, you can turn all kinds of ideas and topics into your own perspective and talk about things from a place of passion.

People can tell if you aren't into your content or if you’re words don't come from a place of passion & meaning. If you’re authentically interested in things and you show that people will be more interested and pay a lot more attention (higher watch time, more likely to follow or subscribe, & also more likely to gain inspiration from your content or value)

You may not be able to find your voice or the most authentic version of yourself right away (being able to turn your thoughts into unique ideas and information that resonate with others) this takes time to find but don't be put off that your first tweets or videos may lack some of this authenticity factor as you get comfortable writing & talking to the camera.

As you develop more of your own way to say things you will likely start to see more people getting excited, or becoming interested in what you have to say, people can tell when someone is talking from their heart, & it's not only appreciated, its desired heavily from consumers especially people looking to learn. 

Over time authenticity builds people who trust you, especially on longer-form content, and see you as a human they want to consume the content of, building a deeper connection with each member of your audience than just with short-form attention-grabbing content.

The value of authenticity (& NEED for it)

Looping back to authenticity, the best niche to start with when creating crypto content is yourself.

People spend so much time picking a niche when they really don't need one… sure you can have a target audience, and sure you can excel in building authority in a specific domain… but the one thing that can set you apart from every single person on social media is that you can be yourself.

As much as you want to be your favorite crypto creator, you don't need to, & we as humans have a wonderful flaw built into us: if we try to copy something by hand, it will never be a perfect copy. The same goes for trying to copy people… this is GOOD.

you can choose to take many people’s styles, formats and more to create your own but at the end of the day in order to be successful in “stealing” someone's best parts you will have to make your own evolution of it: & out pops an unreplaceable niche: YOU.

So in short: take multiple people's ideas & make them your own through authenticity and synthesizing them from your perspective to apply them to your life… and don’t worry about having a niche too much, a better goal to set out for is to create value and make people interested in whatever interests you (+ educate people!) the niche will create itself and the more you follow this advice the easier it will be to talk about different topics and not lose 50% of your audience.

Creating an unreplaceable niche (you) & having a purpose.

Instagram: Use reels for easier exposure, and leverage your other platforms to grow Instagram as discovery on traditional photo posts is more difficult. Use carousel posts as you grow here. Comment on bigger creators’ posts to get people to view your content and get the ball rolling. (30 minutes of replying goes a long way, even when you’re big, apply to Twitter too)

TikTok: Make broader videos, the reach on tiktok is absolutely bonkers, billions of people, humor works very well here + direct people to your link in your bio, this can be a great funnel to your website, youtube, or newsletter.

YouTube Shorts Growth: Reupload TikToks & IG Reels here, free exposure, use the same channel for shorts & normal videos to have an instant funnel to your long-form content and people don't even have to leave the app.

Twitter Growth: Reply to larger accounts around your interests who are creating or who you aspire to evolve from (these should be thoughtful replies not just emojis, you want people to see your passion) & reply to people who reply to you here it boosts your post. Make threads that deliver valuable insights & tweets with depth so when people visit your page they can see what you offer in forms of content quickly. Write out 4 tweets at night and schedule them for the next day. Simple tool to monitor what tweets are working: https://analytics.twitter.com/

Bonus: LinkedIn — still testing here myself as I wasn’t aware I could use this platform for growth until recently. My current strategy for this platform is simple to get started: Use an app called “Hootsuite” on my phone and schedule tweets to automatically also be posted to linked in too. There are many other apps for this on desktop as well like Hypefury.

Finally, I’d suggest making each short-form platform a habit one at a time, start with Twitter, and once you have that down recycle content onto the other platforms, then start making tiktoks and instagram reels around your top tweets. 

When picking up something new it's best not to try and do everything at once or you’ll likely just give up.

Bite Size Platform-Specific Tips

If your profile looks like a hunk of junk, it’s going to hinder your growth on the internet. The same goes for your content: written & video.

Don’t worry, it’s actually very easy to make a super clean & branded style for your content so people can not only recognize creations as yours but so they will also perceive you as more of a professional (someone they look up to)

A tool I use for FREE every day: Canva. You don’t need paid tools to make an amazing brand.

Keep in mind that your brand should reflect you, and use others as inspiration, but don't be a copycat rather strive to be the next evolution.

Using canvas as a base tool for social media is something I’ve recently picked up & it has allowed me to make my entire brand look more professional overnight: animated on-brand text slides for my youtube videos, and a way to visualize my ideas with shaped and text using a template I made in 30 minutes.

Designing your brand 

Make content that shares some form of value (education, entertainment, community) on topics that you find interesting, and structure it towards yourself (Make yourself click, what would make you want to read or watch?)

— If all of this feels overwhelming, follow the above advice & stick to ONE platform until you can grow on there, then branch out to other platforms.

My platform of choice for this would be Twitter, as this is where most crypto people are & also the easiet to gain a following on organiclly. Then you can leverage said following to get a head start on other platforms.

Social Media Mastery

Creating videos can be daunting, but it doesn't have to be. In the following sections, we will cover all aspects of not only creating video content but also diving deep into crypto-specific concepts to help you get over humps you may be uncertain of how to overcome.

The content below is here to guide you all the way from having no experience to making your first videos & then learning what works so you can grow your personal brand & video creation skills.

Introduction

Starting a channel on youtube it can be quite difficult to gain traction & views on your videos.

Having a channel on crypto puts you at an advantage as there is a constant need for new content on time-sensitive topics, breaking news & new developments.

A lot of the information you’re already consuming can be turned into videos with an explanation that helps people understand (+ your perspective) & can get your channel a growing audience using this to your advantage to help push your other videos into the algorithm.

When you’re first getting started on youtube it's much easier to build a following by making videos on things that have less supply (not as many people have videos on the topic) and more demand (people are searching for vids on the topic) like news videos.

I know you may want to make videos on things outside of crypto or mix crypto with your own interests. (or talk about multiple different cryptos)… & YOU CAN, we’ll talk more about this in the following sections.

What I did when I first made my crypto channel was just talk about things I would want to hear people talk about, imagine you’re making a video for yourself, then structure your video ideas and content around that. 

This allowed me to build an authentic view for my viewers so people were more likely to also watch my crypto news videos knowing who they are coming from and my perspective.

This guide covers a lot of crypto-specific types of videos in the next section, but these are by no means the only types of content you can make.

These methods are just an outline for someone who wants a structure for video idea types to follow that I’ve found success in making crypto videos daily for nearly 2 years & 800+ videos.

Also, keep in mind this course will be updated with all my knowledge as I grow & expand outside of just crypto so you can improve with me. (stay accountable in the course discord & get feedback on your content strategy).

Start Simple

In this section, we want to find out which types of content you want to master and use to propel your growth & personal brand around your specific crypto & even noncrypto interests.

Cryptocurrency videos have a few specific separate categories that I’ve come up with to help structure your growth methodology when creating video content. 

I’ve broken these into 6 types of videos: each with its own pros and cons which we will talk about in this section.

Ideally, your channel will use what works best for you, at first just focus on creating any form of video as you can alter your approach as you go and aren't stuck to any one video type.

These are just to give you some ideas on where to start so you don't get stuck in your train of thought.

- News videos 📰
    
    News videos are a great form of content, ideas are created for you and you just need to present already available information in a way that works for you & put it together in a way that people can be informed from and want to click on (more on clickability later)
    
    This method is great because you don't need an existing audience to leverage the news popping up with little coverage in your niche of crypto interests. 
    
    This can be a great way to get early views and subscribers to your youtube channel and maintained with your perspective & knowledge will still allow you to add to your own personal brand so the audience is more likely to come back for more of your videos.
    
    My channel on YouTube does a lot of news videos, this is how I center my content on days I don't have one of the other 5 types of videos in my backlog of ideas, and big news brings in a big amount of new eyes to my channel with a lot less effort since people are actively searching for the latest news. 
    
    *side note:* crypto news is very TWITTER-centric, I’m often scrolling on my phone on Twitter and then just bookmark posts to cover in videos or write down video titles and ideas that pop up in my head when scrolling around the topics that have my crypto interests.
    
    Here are some examples of news videos I’ve made, some were on specific events in time when no one else had covered them (around my interests in crypto) and others are more general news based on my Twitter feed interests that I share with others.
    
    In both cases, I’m adding my own perspective to it as someone who is involved in the same ecosystem and has a genuine curiosity about it.
    
    Example 1 (urgent news, coverage of very time-sensitive topics.)

    In this example some big news dropped one night I was on Twitter and tons of people were going crazy in the replies of tweets around this news, most people would sit back and think about it, probably source a bunch of different tweets and come up with a conclusion in their heads… 
    
    This is exactly what I did only one thing differently that I did was I made a video going over my thoughts on the tough subject and what just happened in terms of breaking news.
    
    This type of news isn't every day in any crypto niche, but it happens in most areas and if you have an interest in anything that has a community you have probably experienced things like this. 
    
    I was able to put my thoughts into a video while going over the situation, build my audience, build my personal brand, & build another addition to my public portfolio which is my youtube channel that builds authenticity.
    
    Okay but what if the wnews isn't so “breaking” every day? What can you do to build an audience with other less wild news videos?
    
    Example 2 (news around your interests, what's going on with your interests?, what is on your timeline)

    In Example 2 I use a clickable title and thumbnail to bring the viewer in and then I go over some cool statistics and recent news about my crypto interests. 
    
    Nothing super urgent but all news that is relevant, informative, and interesting to viewers.. giving something of value and not a nothing sandwich, so they will click on your video next time even if the title is a little exaggerated.
    
    I also want to mention based on both of these examples, of which you can find many many more on my channel for news videos, that they are very easy to put together and have very low production times. 
    
    Typically a news video will only take me 10-20 minutes to record (this wasn't always the case, 10 minutes to edit + 20 minutes to upload and make a thumbnail for. I’ll show you my systems & how I do this too; don’t worry.
    
    Combined with coming up with the video title and prepping what news I'm going to cover by having plenty of tabs open with the information I want to go over, my process for news-based videos takes me around 1.5-2 hours per video. 
    
    This is GREAT and means I can make 1 of these each day if I want if there is enough news to engage people and provide value with, which will help grow my personal brand, audience, and overall reach inside my crypto interests as a creator. 
    
    Some channels go with a much larger production for news videos and even script them. These are usually teams of people and you can do this by yourself too but just getting started & going for the lower production quality works just as well. Then later consider mixing in a newsletter and make a video form of that for your script.
    
    See someone like [Altcoin Daily’s](https://www.youtube.com/@AltcoinDaily) approach vs [Coin Bureau](https://www.youtube.com/c/CoinBureau) by browsing their titles and contents, one is super high production the other is much lower, but both are very successful in the space of general crypto.

- Price Videos 📈
    
    Price videos are almost always based on current time, meaning like news videos they are only relevant for so long, but also like news videos price videos are simple to make and have a ton of people actively trying to find out what the price of any crypto may do next (not that anyone knows) 
    
    I myself have done a good amount of videos with my own flare going over prices, however, I never use technical analysis 1) because I don’t know how to in-depth 2) because I don’t enjoy it or find it interesting — 2 is more important as if you don’t find what you are making videos about interesting to some degree (would you still learn about this if it wasn’t for making a video?) then it will come across in your video and people will notice.
    
    If you are genuinely interested they will also notice and enjoy the video much more likely. if you’re interested then you become interested.
    
    Example 1: Going over a theoretical price point for a specific crypto to intrigue, then mixing in my personal opinion and thoughts on the fundamental direction.

    Now again, price videos are basically when the entire point of a video is to talk about the price of a crypto, people eat this up and I myself do too especially when things are down or wild stuff is happening in the news.
    
    My price videos are always just me talking to the camera and spitting out my thoughts, it’s fun and it’s enjoyable to speculate on what may happen next, and I’d be doing it without a youtube channel anyways internally, might as well document & share my thoughts.
    
    You can take your own approach to price videos too, if you know some Technical Analysis then by all means go for it! I’ve seen channels do a new TA Price video every day 4 times a day for different cryptos and pull in millions of views per month with ease.
    
    Charts are always changing and people want constant updates. If that interests you there is a massive audience for it.
    
    Sidenote: Often times people will also click on videos and titles centered around prices of crypto, sometimes I’ll use that to draw people into more news-centric videos and then show what’s going on to lead towards a positive sentiment or negative sentiment (and possibly reflective of price)
    
    not every video is just one of the types I'm outlining here really, crypto videos can be a good mix of multiple types to get the benefits that come with each audience and format of content.

- Personal Experience Videos 🧑
    
    These videos are in my opinion the best way to get out of the pit that is you not creating anything.
    
    Personal experience videos are where you go over something you’ve learned, a lesson of a realization you’ve made and talk it out, thoroughly explaining your view point and what you may do differently next time or going forward. Basically passing on your lessons to anyone who wants to watch the video.
    
    This is easy to make and you don’t need to over think it. Some of my best performing vidoes are me just talking to the camera about how I lost a bunch of money or how the government took all my crypto or whatever may have happened to me or around me that I learned something from. 
    
    Worried about the video you’ll show? Supporting images are helpful but the main idea here is that you are passionate // have some emotion to this subject and you want to talk about it, tell the world, or rather tell your camera.
    
    Often times when i don’t feel all that interested in the news or price i take time to reflect and then make a video on what’s on my mind pertaining to my crypto interests.
    
    For instance “How long will the bear market last?” — a question i’ve asked myself before: then i make a video on it, diving into the question and going over possible outcomes and answers, with different timelines using my personal learnings and own opinions mentioning how i thought we were going to the moon last time but was wrong, showing images of historical events or things I find relevant to my perspective. (data, examples, etc)

    These types of videos are very hit or miss for me too, even if you have an audience not everyone will have the same thoughts or may be interested in the questions you are asking or lessons you have learned.
    
    Regardless, I love making videos based off of my reflections and personal experience the most because it’s really just me and the camera & I get to help other people learn. 
    
    These vidoes can do very well if they have the right title and amount of emotion put into them, and are aslo more evergreen in the sense that they stand a much better chance of getting views over time rather than all at once because what you’re talking about will still be relevant likely for more time than the latest news or price updates. 
    
    Example 2: Going over why I need 30,000 ADA & showing my personal opinions in a way thats interesing to the viewer (feel free to steal my ideas or others and make them your own)

    If you don’t know where to start with your channel try making a video talking about your interests and experience in crypto, come up with a title that interests people, that YOU would watch.
    
    ALSO: don’t be discouraged if these vidoes don’t take off right away, especially combined with other video types youtube will put these types of content back into peoples recommended when you have more people watching other videos. 
    
- Tutorial Videos 💻
    
    Tutorial videos are exactly what they sound like: videos of you going over something step by step: wether it be setting up a crypto wallet on your favorite blockchain or a new wallet, how to use an application, or how you map out your crypto portfolio to track everything.
    
    These videos are easy to make because you already know how to do so many things that others don’t. Most people are beginners and if you have any time of interest in crypto then you either:
    
    a) already have knowledge and plenty of things to teach beginners or…
    b) have the interest to learn for yourself and then you can teach what you learn to others.
    
    Keep in mind i’m going to cover how you can use a simple recording setup to make these videos as easy as possible too.
    
    Tutorial videos are actually what first got my channel launched off the ground when i first started making videos around my interests.
    
    At the time I came across a popular application building around my interests in crypto and decided to make a tutorial about this with less than 100 subcribers.
    
    This video took off my channel, getting me nearly 1000 subscribers from 1 video alone.

    You can leverage tutorial videos with trending topics and gain a lot of people who are interested in what you are interested in too! 
    
    At the time i was curious about this so i researched, then decided “hey! why not make a video on this too”, it got a ton of traction and boosted my channel into my first educational or “Get the cookie” video that did even crazier numbers for my channel. (more on that in the next section)
    
    After this video did well I also made other videos offering tools in relation to the topic of this video, both again just me showcasing tools and things helpful to others in a tutorial fashion as I was learning about them.
    
    This helped a ton to build the audience I have today where I can make a video about anything related to my crypto interests and get 1,000-3,000 views on average in a bear market for crypto while interest is at an all time low.

    I’ve also done many other tutorial videos not related to trending topics that have gained me a ton of subscribers over time and remain videos that keep my channel organically growing as people search how to do things related to my crypto interests that ive made videos on. 
    
    Tutorial videos can be used as an amazing tool to starting any creators journey especially when you are diving deep into new interests as youll likely be reviewing the basics at this point and you can share them with the world (document your interests).
    
    These to me are the most fufilling videos to make and the people you help here will become valuable audience members.
    
- Get the cookie Videos 🍪
    
    “Get the cookie videos” are essentially videos that users click on because they want an answer to a question or problem that you have them curios about from your title/ thumbnail.
    
    This type of video is the one that will always do best in click through rates as it sparks an emotion in views and curiousity. This can be combined with any of the other types of videos in the way you structure your title and thumbnail.
    
    Your thumbnail and title should make the audience curious enough to click on the video, and paint the picture of a cookie then cant eat unless they watch the video where its waiting inside (metaphor) 
    
    In the previous section I went over how I made a video like this that blew up my channel, truth is I did get lucky that Cardano (my crypto interest) was trending at the time, but the main reason for my videos success was because people clicked on the video… it planted the idea that the viewer needed to get the cookie inside the video (by watching) & then it also gave them said cookie (information they were looking for)

    Get the cookie really just means make your video clickable and then get the viewer satisfied with what they clicked for, common sense you might think… but people forget this when making content and talking about things they like.
    
    You may ramble on at times which is okay, but starting your video talking about WHAT you are going to be going over and then actually going over how you plan on doing something or jumping into how your video makes sense in a way the viewer can understand and not get bored is crutial to keep as a reminder in the back of your head at all times. 
    
    We will talk more about structuring a good title and thumbnail in the dedicated section of this course, keep reading (or watching). 
    

After you’ve gone through all these types of content hopefully you have an idea of how to leverage each different one. 

Keep in mind you don't have to strive for only one type of the above and the most important thing is that the video is interesting to YOU and you are interested in the topic, then from there, the audience is much more likely to watch you. 

Still, keep in mind that people get bored easily, so try to remind people of what the video is about and give them reasons to keep watching (mention what you’re going to talk about, or talking points you are leading up to for a conclusion)

Trying to game the algorithm is cool, but first priority is to make useful content that interests you, if something interests you, chances are it interests other people too. 

Your job is to make others interested by showing your interest & finding those people like you.

Types of Crypto Videos

Coming up with a video idea can be difficult, but using the types above and especially getting started on any video is better than no video. 

You can always private the video later if you want but getting comfortorable infront of the camera is important, or in general: building a public portfolio so people can see what you have been up to & are more likely to find you authentic. (yes, that’s important)

Ok but how do you come up with video ideas? Lets go over some methods I use

- browsing twitter or just thinking about documenting things when i learn about my interests then noting video ideas and titles as they come to me (even the rough ideas) so i can build up a list of video ideas
- asking AI like [chat GPT](https://chat.openai.com/) for video ideas or concepts related to my interests that people are interested in.
- looking at google trends or whats popular around my interests that people want to learn about and then learn about it myself and document my findings
- make a news video based on whats going on in my crypto interests (no idea needed, just action and a good title to get people to click)
- taking note of when i think of a video idea in the middle of the day
- browsing youtube I often see inspriation for ideas even if not on the same topics, if somethings comes to you, write it down, it likely will when you arent directly thinking about it.
- google your interests or search on youtube to see performing topics, this forces ideas into your head
- ask people on the internet around your interests what you should make videos around, genrally this isnt fun though, and you’re better off making videos you will enjoy because people will be able to tell when you are into it or not.
- if you have ANYTHING you are very interested in (passionately so, or excited about at that time) make a video on it! Titling these types of videos to make them relatable & interesting to your audience is the most important part
- Repurpose a peice of written content from yourself or someone else as a youtube video (if you’re referencing someone elses content, make it clear + add your own insights) Tweets, newsletters, articles, etc.
- when reading books & going for walks ideas often flow to me, once again I write them down when they do in my phone (make a form of an ideas note section) — Or use this content board notion template and put your ideas under To-Do.

- Still stuck or feeling lazy? This happens to me too, often times i make a video anyways on whatever is on my brain, although this depends on each individual but putting yourself as a brand out there ive found to be very helpful for connecting with your audience

Coming up with video ideas

You don’t need to script your videos but It can help a TON if you aren’t comfortable in front of the camera or If you need to get your ideas sorted our on paper first.

Scripting your videos also allows you to structure your content in a way that keeps the viewer watching. Feel free to use bits and peices of the below format as it suites you..

**Content Writing for Crypto**

****There’s two kinds of people in the world.

There’s those that can comfortably speak for an hour based on a handful of bullet points - and then there’s everyone else. People that wouldn’t dare hit record until they have a word-for-word transcript of everything they’re going to say prepared ahead of time.

If you’re in that second group of content creators, here’s a quick guide on video scriptwriting for crypto content creators.

## **Structure**

If you remember back to English class in high school, your teacher probably spent time going over the importance of structure in your essays.

You’d begin with an opening statement before giving a brief summary of each of your supporting points. In your essay’s main section, you’d detail each point, explaining at each step how they supported your opening statement.  

Finally, you’d conclude by summarizing your argument and reiterating the point of the essay.  Regardless of how much attention you paid back then, structure is just as important when script writing content for YouTube.

In order, let’s explore how you’d structure a YouTube video script and how each section can add to the overall effectiveness of the video.

### **1. The Hook**

The most important part of your YouTube video is the first ten seconds, or “the hook”.  It’s about the average amount of time people will give a random video to entertain them before swiping off to something more interesting.

For this reason, the first 2-3 sentences of your script have to be ***extremely*** engaging. It could be a risqué or controversial statement, you might pose a hypothetical question that people are passionate about – whatever it is, you need to “hook” your viewers with something that keeps them watching.

Just keep in mind that overhyped intros and obvious clickbait hooks are generally frowned upon, you can be interesting without lying!

In general, the best hooks are no more than about 80 words in length and run for around 15-30 seconds at most.

Here’s a quick example of an engaging hook that keeps viewers watching:

***“One of these unlisted coins has already pumped 400% and it hasn’t even hit exchanges yet. Wanna find out which of these altcoins are going to the moon?”***

### **2. CHANNEL INTRO + CONTENT SEGUE**

Newer creators are often hesitant to advertise their channel name in their early videos, but establishing brand consistency from day one is an invaluable tool for growth.

Directly after the hook, script in a section for branding and/or introducing your channel. This can include your channel name, a catchphrase or a description of what content your channel covers. 

Some creators like to add in a like/subscribe CTA at this point, I personally don’t as I prefer to ask ***after*** the content has been delivered, but it’s completely up to you. The key here is to be fast and confident; no-one wants to hear a two-minute channel intro at the start of every video.

After you give your channel a quick mention, try to incorporate a natural-sounding segue into the video content topic. This prevents your intro from sounding like a commercial and keeps the viewer watching.

Here’s a quick example of a channel intro that segues into the main part of your content:

***“Hey guys, welcome to HODL Nation, the place where everyone is gonna make it! In this video, we’re taking a look at [Video Subject] and how it impacts X holders! Let’s get right into it!”***

### **3. DISCLAIMER**

If you’ve watched any crypto content on YouTube, you’ll have heard the “not financial advice” disclaimer a million times already. 

There’s obviously precedent for this, if you’re speaking about any kind of financial product positively or negatively, you have to assume that people might act upon it. To protect yourself from any claims, regardless of how frivolous, and regardless of the country you live in, it’s strongly advised that you incorporate a disclaimer into either your channel intro or outro.

At the very least, put one in your description, here’s the disclaimers I use as I also take on sponsors (ALWAYS DISCLOSE!!)

### **4. MAIN CONTENT**

When it comes to the main section of your video, there’s really only one rule when structuring your content.

***If you asked a question in your hook, you MUST answer it.***

There’s nothing more infuriating as a viewer watching a 12-minute clickbait video where the creator dances around a question without actually answering it. You can’t get those 12 minutes back. While you can absolutely build suspense towards your answer at the end of the video to increase average view duration, just make sure you give the people what they want.

When researching for content, I find it helpful to save relevant graphics and reference links as you go – it’ll save you or your editor (or yourself) time when editing, filming or creating visuals for the video.

### **5. CHANNEL OUTRO / CTA**

In this section, just like in your essay, you’ll wrap up your argument with a closing statement.  Unlike in an essay, your YouTube script will often feature a CTA or something that will spark engagement. This could come in the form of a question:

***“Do you think PooCoin will hit all-time-highs in the next bull run? Let us know in the comments!”***

Or you can tie in a like with a popular statement.

***“Hit that like button if you’re a PooCoin holder and you’re not selling!”***

Your CTA can also include a request to subscribe to the channel.

***“Thanks for watching, make sure you subscribe to the channel and enable notifications so you can be the first to watch our latest uploads!”*

ONE LAST THING**

While there is hard science behind a lot of these structure and engagement tips, the most important thing to remember is that your personality and the content you deliver will do more for the channel than any CTA or flashy channel branding.

***Use this as a guide. Ultimately how you structure your content is up to you.

T***his content writing outline was first drafted by a writer for a ton of top channels in crypto & now brands, & I think its great to use if you want to make a killer video that keeps the audience watching, the content you fill it with however is an even more important factor.

### Recording on Phone

Making youtube videos on your phone is as simple as pressing record from your camera & then just talking to the camera about a topic,.

Anything outside of a rant is going to be quite limited for long form topic using your phone although you can use apps to edit I would recomend if you do this you either 

A) Upload the video to your PC to edit easier (see next section) or 
B) just upload the raw video. 

I’ve done this in the summer time when I didnt have access to my PC and these videos of me just talking still did just as good as my main videos, granted I did make thumbnails for them still using my PC.

Extra Notes

For editing your videos you can use a few options, I Use Sony Vegas. Although this is a paid service, some people also torrent this software for free or use a free trial. This is up to you. 

Below you can find a complete walkthough video on How to use Sony Vegas & how i edit my videos in 10 minutes or less. 

***If you decide to use a different software for this or only have a mobile device***, the methods I use can be applied to efficiently edit in pretty much any basic video editing software so this guide will still help almost anyone who needs help with basic & efficient editing. 

***I now use Davinci Resolve as it is free and REALLY good.***

Making a clickable video is pretty important to understand. If no one click on your video, no one is going to watch your video either. 

Even if you’re video is amazing, it wont get much reach or traction if no one is interested in the story you tell through the thumbnail and title.

Coming up with a clickable video is going to take time likely, especially because what gets clicks changes a lot depending on your video type as well as the niche your video is in (educational, price related, etc) 

The simplest way to learn what works is to fail and try again. AKA: make more videos, or go back and change your thumbnails or title to see if you start getting better click through rates after changes. 

There are infitinte ways to portray the SAME VIDEO video to an audience before they even click it, changing the title from “MAKING A MILLION DOLLARS IN CRYPTO” to “How To Make a million dollars in crypto” to “My crypto plan to make a million dollars”, the list goes on. Pairing this with a good thumbnail that compliments the title and adds more information will help get more clicks.

Designing a thumbnail doesnt have to be super complex, a lot of time simple is better, there’s a few simple tricks you can use to make your thumbnails more clickable.

- a human face (prefereably yours) 
- high contrast (vivid colours)
- using less text to make people connect the title and the thumbnail as an overaching story telling what the video is about

Some examples of mine that use some of the above, including the titles i used for the videos to give you an idea. (keep in mind that many crypto videos will have higher clicks if its inticing the viewer to click with a question or mystery)

Both of these videos are using bright colours to catch viewers eye and then putting something interesting in front of them, a story through the title and thumnbnail in which the target audience will be intrigued enough to click.

Designing your thumbnail

The most important thing to make a video good is to make a valueable video. If a video satisfies the viewer in one of three ways, then you have made a good video.

Does the video…
- entertain the viewer enough that they want to come back for more?
- distills valuable information in a way that the viewer can understand and or relate to?
- provides a unique perspective in a passionate tone or methodogy that excites the viewer?

If any of the above boxes are checked then you have a key ingredient for a good video.

These concepts can be added to almost any video and mixed with eachother, but the point is: a good video isnt based on a high editing budget or a fancy camera (clear audio is more imporant anyways) but is more reliant on the actual ideas and information in the video, or the emotions it can give the viewer (inspired, intrigued, curious, entertained, happy, etc)

The idea here is that a good video will have a higher watch time percentage wise. 

If youtube sees viewers watching over 50% of your video on average, than they are much more likely to keep reccomending your video to more people than a video on the same topic with a 25% average view duration.

& Chances are the video which has the elements mentioned above will have a higher view duration too. I wouldnt focus too much on the analytics though, I would mainly be concerned with creating authentic and unique content that also provides valueable information.

At least that is my personal approach, try and fail to find what works best for you… you may find putting memes and making entertainment based content mixed with your own perspecitve is best, there is no one way to make a good video.

What makes a video good?

Mastering Crypto Video Creation

**### The first steps…

Making your own route to make content creation as easy as possible is essential for creating more content and actually spending time each day to fulfill a goal to create content consistently. 

Goals are also great to make sure you have a target in mind, but aside from goals is the process of getting to them: this comes from daily action. 

In order to make daily action easier one major suggestion I would make is to PLAN the day the night before, & add time to make content.

Research with the intention of something you want to document your perspective on (i.e: eventually make content about), or in general just have a block of time to talk to the camera or write about something you've found interesting in your area of chosen interest. (news, a concept, innovations, an application, token or protocol, etc)

For a long time I didn't plan my days & even now many days I do not have a direct plan for, but every day, with exception of a few days a year, I make sure I make several pieces of content. At least one video each day on YouTube, and often multiple tweets to grow my reach towards my YouTube (more on this idea in the next section of the course)

If you’re not used to using notion, ide highly suggest it. Either way to get you started, here is a template I’ve created for planning your day (use the night before or the morning of, adjust as best suits you)

The main thing I'm trying to stress here is to make creating content easy you need to make it habitual, so for the first few weeks it may be annoying, and it may be difficult to focus, but the more a part of your routine it becomes, the weirder it will feel if you miss a day of contributing to creating content. 

If you can’t do it every day, start with any consistent effort, say 3 days a week you work on content. But all in all, it doesn't take much to write your thoughts or learnings out if you’re already interested in something in crypto. 

The more often you create, the more you will learn how to make good content that's valuable and digestible to people viewing it.

### **Systemizing your process.**

Another side note to making creating easy is to implement systems that make you be able to create more efficiently.

For example, I have an editing template I use so I can simply import my videos, clip the ends to take out silence & downtime, then add the same setting and export the video. - this cuts down my editing time after recording to 10 minutes or less for basic videos depending on how many recordings it took me to make the video.

Another example: when I make YouTube thumbnails, I've gone through many phases and types of thumbnails, but I also use a template on Photoshop to start with that has a ton of assets I may use, logos of cryptos, 3d renders of said cryptos, flame effects, different backgrounds, pre-formatted title texts, and more all ready to go so I can make a great thumbnail quickly and not spend hours on this step in creating a video.

Once you find what works, you’ll be able to double down on that too, and have better systems around it. 

At first when learning how to create… edit, make thumbnails, write content for a blog, craft a newsletter and distribute it, format content for Instagram, etc you may not be able to have a system in place right away. 

But keeping in mind that you can create systems to make content easier is essential, especially for a one-person business model or a new creator. 

Your efficiency will determine how much content you are able to produce a.k.a how much of your unique perspective you are able to share (about your genuine interests).

A lot of Twitter can be you sitting there scrolling & not really gaining much value. Especially when the new algorithm is just pushing you memes, fight videos, or other irrelevant topics to what you want to learn about.

A great & simple tip to maximize Twitter is by scheduling tweets & writing tweets on a separate app so you can avoid being sucked into the endless scroll & spend more time creating the things you've been putting off creating. 

This tip is aiming to limit your distractions as well as help you stay consistent with scheduled posts.

Scheduling posts

Scheduling posts can be found on Twitter when drafting a SINGLE tweet (doesn’t work for threads, you’ll need a tool like [TweetHunter](https://tweethunter.io/) for that) at the bottom in the form of a small calendar icon with a timer on it, see the image below.

After successfully picking a time to upload your tweet you will see a small message noting that it’s a scheduled tweet and the “Tweet” button will turn into “Schedule”. This may differ slightly if you’re on mobile. (see image below)

Then, you can schedule the tweet, & forget about scrolling wasting your time stuck in the social media death loop.

Two helpful tips & a template you can use for YouTube…

Tip #1: Default upload settings

On youtube, if you go to your YouTube Studio Dashboard and then find “Settings” you can set a default description (here is where you can auto-add your socials & other links you want in every video description. You can also set a default tags list where you can set the tags most relevant to your channel and it will automatically be applied the next time you upload a video. This saves a ton of time copying & pasting text (if you even remember), making your life and content-uploading process easier.

Youtube → Top right Click YouTube Studio → Left Side scroll and click Settings → Click Upload Defaults → Fill in with your desired settings.

If you want to build a good tags list, you can use [Tubebuddy](https://www.tubebuddy.com/) Free or another system to paste in someone's youtube video copy their tags if they are relevant to your channel, then add in tags relevant to your content so they can place better in YouTube search.

Screenshot your tweets & turn them into carousel posts on linked in & Instagram, or photo mode on TikTok, you don't need to think of new ideas for content across different platforms.. reuse your ideas and even actual content.. this will help you expand your reach.

Twitter, Instagram, TikTok & LinkedIn are all great places to grow, and you can use content from videos or newsletters to grow on them, by just repurposing main ideas and repeating them on other platforms.

Keep in mind It’s often a fault to rush the title & thumbnail as these are the most important parts to getting people to click on your content, at first, just get some stuff out there though & don’t get stuck in the details as much.

Then, iterate towards better titles, editing, thumbnails, & whatever else that makes up your content.**

Systemizing Content Creation

Writing is at the basis of making quality content, & also a medium in which some people heavily prefer (over video).

Everytime you write something out, you have to think things through a lot more than if you are just to speak aloud with your initial thoughts.

You’re forced to fill the gaps when you write in your head & when you fill those gaps using writing you become an easier to understand voice to the people you’re talking to.

Over time writing also declutters your mind & allows your thoughts to be more consise so you can speak on topics you know well easily and consisely.

Writing isnt the only way to fill mental gaps, but its one tool that anyone can use. Some people may use teaching others to help fill gaps of understanding or in their thoughts, some people may record a video 30 times and sort through their thoughts by trial and error, all of these ways work.

Writing is a tool in the toolbox of a creator, you don’t have to use the same tool every time… & you may have a different favorite tool.

but becoming a good writer & using written forums makes you more likely to suceed across multimedia platforms and written only platforms especially.

Why writing is important

“Write for yourself” is probably one of the most simple yet effective pieces of advice if heard as a creator.

You may be asking yourself “What do I write about”, “Will people read this?”, or “How do I make this interesting?”, the answer to almost all questions in this line of thinking is “Write for yourself”.

What do you want to write about? — Write what **you**’re interested in
What do you want to read? — Write something **you'**d want to read
What would make you interested? — Write something that would hook **you** in

You don’t need to put yourself in a box, write things you would want to read, there are people who will enjoy it. This is also the most fulfilling approach… I know: I’ve written for others and not had my interests aligned, it's not enjoyable or fulfilling, at all.

This doesn’t just apply to writing either, it applies to almost all aspects of business & creation.

Having a newsletter via email list is the easiest way to deplatform your audience & also your income so you arent bound to twitter or youtube if you were to get banned, hacked, or those forums were to go down.

As you can see, Newsletters or articles serve as a large basis for every other type of content. I myself turn all of my newsletters into a YouTube video, 4+ tweets or a twitter thread, & then I can also turn those tweets into linked in posts, instagram reels, & tiktoks.

When you write out a newsletter or write long form in general it gives you the ability to add more structure to your content. Not only do you get more content from a newsletter down the hierchy, but each peice of content can tell a more intriguing story because your writing will often have a natural progression for the reader that also comes off in your videos & other content. 

I made YouTube videos for years without a script too, espcially on news topics, you dont need a script but having one will increase your videos quality so If you have a newsletter, why not turn it into a video? Free well thought out content at your fingertips to turn into more content to grow your reach.

Top of hierachy

Limiting yourself to only a certain amount of words, or only using one color when painting may seem like it would hinder your creativity at first glance, but in reality, it forces you to think outside the box & get creative within your limitations.

This alone lets you as a creator bust through a ton of limitations. If you aren’t already using the internet to learn then 1) you should & 2) you can add AI & ChatGPT to your skill stack to pickup new skills very quickly.

Wether you use ChatGPT as a creator is completely up to you, but as a tutor alone I can assure you it will help you in many areas of your life.

Simple Chat GPT Intro

Okay now you may be asking… how do I 10x my work though? 

Well, that depends on how efficiently you use ChatGPT. You could write coding scripts for automating tasks or make your own applications even if you don’t know how to code or you can get help with catchy and attention-grabbing titles or headlines asking ChatGPT for its analysis & suggestions on some better versions. 

These mentioned above are only the beginning, lets dive into some specific examples I use myself with ChatGPT & some results ⬇

### Headlines

If you read the section in [social media mastery](https://www.notion.so/Social-Media-Mastery-9e76b34045c245829a33f19d0d80c724?pvs=21) about headlines being the most important part of making content or getting someone to interact with your creations, then you’ll find this first use for AI super amazing (& time-saving).

I used to take 10-30 MINUTES coming up with alternate titles for my youtube videos or hooks for my tweets. Now I just ask ChatGPT for headline ideas! below are some examples & you can find prompt templates including for headlines in the next section below.

Example #1: I took a video that hasn't been performing that well & changed the title to the 3rd option ChatGPT suggested to what I believe to be a much better title. Now I’ll check click-through rates over the coming days & see if they improve with this title change.

Example #2: Finding a better hook for a thread. — It only took Chat GPT seconds to make a much more intriguing message in this tweet, & create something that will have a higher likelihood to make someone stop scrolling.

Not only can you recycle older content that didn’t perform and bring it back to life, but you can also use this method to rewrite tweets before you publish to get a better idea of hooks or ways to make people interested in what you’re talking about.

Remember to use your own voice & keep authenticity overall, no one wants to read a bunch of AI-only viewpoints or “catchy titles”, they still want you, to use AI for inspiration & ideas especially so on single tweets.

### Call To Actions (CTAs)

Call to actions are the bread & butter for not only selling products or services but serve as a great way to make people take the action you want them to.

Whether you want someone to buy your product, contact you about your freelance offer, or simply watch your latest youtube video, calling people to take action to click a link or buy something all utilize the same structure.

AI can be used to help create not just any call to actions but compelling & concise ones on your given topic. Many people use SWIPE files for this to base their CTAs on other successful ones but AI does a lot of the work for you by asking it for help & will give you an infinite way to phrase your CTAs.

Creativity is a very subjective thing, & it can be hard to spring creativity from nothing without an initial starting point. 

This is where using AI can help to implement a place to aim for when designing your latest thumbnail or website theme.

After defining your desired outcome to AI or ChatGPT you can get back in the text an idea for which direction to take your work & I’ve done this many times when Im not sure how to position a thumbnail to get more clicks on a certain topic.

I ask ChatGPT for ideas on thumbnails and I always see some ideas that put a picture in my brain, then from there, it’s much easier to design the thumbnail.

Here’s a quick sample, that provides some great ideas.

Then you can also put these descriptions into AI image generators like Midjourney or DALL-E, although you will likely be better off just grabbing pieces of ChatGPTs description and then adding them together yourself.

Matter of fact, the banner on this course and all the images of the philosopher on a laptop were made using AI & then I fixed parts of it up to add my own logo.

AI allows you to up your design skills pretty easily. I would highly recommend joining the [Midjourney](https://www.midjourney.com/) discord & trying it out for free.

### Content Ideas & Topics

Have you ever been out of ideas? What to tweet? what to cover? Maybe there is not much news about your interests… 

I often read books to get some inspiration & it can help, but AI can expand your thinking 10x in seconds as to what you could be making content on.

### Making applications

Using ChatGPT to make applications is an amazing part of AI that I didn’t realize until a long time after I was using AI.

As a quick example of how you can use AI to help you as a creator, let's talk think in the scope of automating tasks & making apps that help your workflow.

The other day I wanted to test If I could make an app to schedule tweets with ChatGPT, turns out… I can! & it didn't take long at all even with not knowing how to code.

After 15 minutes of back and forth and installing what I needed (ChatGPT told me) I had an app with a user interface that could schedule tweets…

now think, how else can this apply to me? What other simple applications could I use to make my creation life easier? If it doesn't exist you can make it or ask ChatGPT to solve your problem. Lots of times you will find yourself completing tasks you thought to be too challenging with the help of AI. 

… Not always, but enough times for me to add in a section here about it because I think it’s important enough to discover.

    ## **Structure**
    
    If you remember back to English class in high school, your teacher probably spent time going over the importance of structure in your essays.
    
    You’d begin with an opening statement before giving a brief summary of each of your supporting points. In your essay’s main section, you’d detail each point, explaining at each step how they supported your opening statement.  
    
    Finally, you’d conclude by summarizing your argument and reiterating the point of the essay.  Regardless of how much attention you paid back then, structure is just as important when script writing content for YouTube.
    
    In order, let’s explore how you’d structure a YouTube video script and how each section can add to the overall effectiveness of the video.
    
    ### **1. The Hook**
    
    The most important part of your YouTube video is the first ten seconds, or “the hook”.  It’s about the average amount of time people will give a random video to entertain them before swiping off to something more interesting.
    
    For this reason, the first 2-3 sentences of your script have to be ***extremely*** engaging. It could be a risqué or controversial statement, you might pose a hypothetical question that people are passionate about – whatever it is, you need to “hook” your viewers with something that keeps them watching.
    
    Just keep in mind that overhyped intros and obvious clickbait hooks are generally frowned upon, you can be interesting without lying!
    
    In general, the best hooks are no more than about 80 words in length and run for around 15-30 seconds at most.
    
    Here’s a quick example of an engaging hook that keeps viewers watching:
    
    ***“One of these unlisted coins has already pumped 400% and it hasn’t even hit exchanges yet. Wanna find out which of these altcoins are going to the moon?”***
    
    ### **2. CHANNEL INTRO + CONTENT SEGUE**
    
    Newer creators are often hesitant to advertise their channel name in their early videos, but establishing brand consistency from day one is an invaluable tool for growth.
    
    Directly after the hook, script in a section for branding and/or introducing your channel. This can include your channel name, a catchphrase or a description of what content your channel covers. 
    
    Some creators like to add in a like/subscribe CTA at this point, I personally don’t as I prefer to ask ***after*** the content has been delivered, but it’s completely up to you. The key here is to be fast and confident; no-one wants to hear a two-minute channel intro at the start of every video.
    
    After you give your channel a quick mention, try to incorporate a natural-sounding segue into the video content topic. This prevents your intro from sounding like a commercial and keeps the viewer watching.
    
    Here’s a quick example of a channel intro that segues into the main part of your content:
    
    ***“Hey guys, welcome to HODL Nation, the place where everyone is gonna make it! In this video, we’re taking a look at [Video Subject] and how it impacts X holders! Let’s get right into it!”***
    
    ### **3. DISCLAIMER**
    
    If you’ve watched any crypto content on YouTube, you’ll have heard the “not financial advice” disclaimer a million times already. 
    
    There’s obviously precedent for this, if you’re speaking about any kind of financial product positively or negatively, you have to assume that people might act upon it. To protect yourself from any claims, regardless of how frivolous, and regardless of the country you live in, it’s strongly advised that you incorporate a disclaimer into either your channel intro or outro.
    
    At the very least, put one in your description, here’s the disclaimers I use as I also take on sponsors (ALWAYS DISCLOSE!!)

    ### **4. MAIN CONTENT**
    
    When it comes to the main section of your video, there’s really only one rule when structuring your content.
    
    ***If you asked a question in your hook, you MUST answer it.***
    
    There’s nothing more infuriating as a viewer watching a 12-minute clickbait video where the creator dances around a question without actually answering it. You can’t get those 12 minutes back. While you can absolutely build suspense towards your answer at the end of the video to increase average view duration, just make sure you give the people what they want.
    
    When researching for content, I find it helpful to save relevant graphics and reference links as you go – it’ll save you or your editor (or yourself) time when editing, filming or creating visuals for the video.
    
    ### **5. CHANNEL OUTRO / CTA**
    
    In this section, just like in your essay, you’ll wrap up your argument with a closing statement.  Unlike in an essay, your YouTube script will often feature a CTA or something that will spark engagement. This could come in the form of a question:
    
    ***“Do you think PooCoin will hit all-time-highs in the next bull run? Let us know in the comments!”***
    
    Or you can tie in a like with a popular statement.
    
    ***“Hit that like button if you’re a PooCoin holder and you’re not selling!”***
    
    Your CTA can also include a request to subscribe to the channel.
    
    ***“Thanks for watching, make sure you subscribe to the channel and enable notifications so you can be the first to watch our latest uploads!”*
    
    ONE LAST THING**
    
    While there is hard science behind a lot of these structure and engagement tips, the most important thing to remember is that your personality and the content you deliver will do more for the channel than any CTA or flashy channel branding.
    
    ***Use this as a guide. Ultimately how you structure your content is up to you.
    
    T***his content writing outline was first drafted by a writer for a ton of top channels in crypto & now brands, & I think its great to use if you want to make a killer video that keeps the audience watching, the content you fill it with however is an even more important factor.

AI Prompt Templates

Using AI to 10x your work

In this section we will be talking about the theory & practicality of taking your crypto based ideas to application. If you have an idea for a project in crypto but don’t know where to start, this section is meant to assist you get started with fufilling the idea. 

Please note that ideas are most often realized to be A LOT more complicated than you think, this section wont solve all your problems for you.

Before proceding, something to consider: Why does you application need to be on a blockchain?

- does is need to be decentralized? why?
- how will this application benefit from being on a blockchain?
- what users would be interested in the web 3 nature of this application?
- how do users benefit from using this application? would they still benefit the same if it was hosted on a database?
- are you intergrating blockchain assets? or just displaying blockchain information?

Make sure you have that ironed out before you spend 100s of hours taking your idea to application.

Should you take your idea to a crypto application?

I’ve put this step first but it could come later too, however it’s likely you’ll want to build your idea out on the blockchains you are already invested or interested in. Before you decide to go with a blockchain you should consider if what you want to do has  been done before on another blockchain. 

If it has or somethign similar than its a much easier starting place than from scratch to model after.

Ethereum for example has thousands of dApps and applications that serve a multitude of needs to end users. Other blockchains are still getting up to speed on developer tooling & ease of access like Cardano or Solana.

This doesn’t mean you only need to use Etheruem, I myself would choose cardano but you should know that the drawbacks of choosing another blockchain will likely be less resources (online tutorials, simple documentation of codebases, etc). 

Worst case here you choose a blockchain you think you want to build on & you quickly find out it would be easier to build on a different blockchain.

Some blockchains I would consider building or using to build an application on.

- Ethereum
- Cardano
- Solana
- Algorand
- Polygon
- Polkadot

Choosing a blockchain

Drafting a proposal is more simple based on how simple your idea is. The outline below allows you to answer questions and make sure you can outline the problem & idea of your application to someone you want to ask the help of to build it (or just get feedback from)

The above draft proposal isn’t going to solve all your problems, but it will help you sort out your ideas & get on the right track

because of how different any idea might be for a crypto based project, this entire section is more general & less 1 on 1 per idea.

also keep in mind that bringing an idea to an MVP or any kind of usable product will require you to be able to figure almost all of the hurdles on your own… especially if it’s a new idea that hasnt been done before.

Drafting a proposal

Building connections in the space around people who can help bring you idea to life is an amazing help opposed to just winging or learning everything on your own.

To build connections the easiest way is to interact with people building things you think are similar to your on social media & in public communities.

Discord & Twitter are excellent places for getting familiar and become familiar to people you want to work with. Show you genuine curiosity and more times than not people will respond.

Another sidenote: If you’re making things, videos, tweets, showing up every day. People can SEE it publicly, they can see your work and your odds of getting a response from a DM or a reply are a lot higher. Leveraging a personal brand to build connections or land clients is a super useful thing to have in pocket.

Building Connections

Hiring people on Fiverrr in most cases probably wont cut it, although it’s not a bad place to search for people with skills who you may be able to work with.

Twitter again is your best friend. In crypto most people use twitter even technical people and developers frequently share their expertise for free.

When looking for people to work with especially in crypto, look for people building things already in line with your blockchain & if they cant help you they probably know someone who can.

This is all much easier when you have a decent following or public portfolio of things you’re working on.

Hiring Talent

If you have an audience, use it.

Consult your ideas & what you want to build publicly, this not only helps build trust and a portfolio of your brain for others to see (and choose if they reply to your DM) but it gives you time to think things through and get feedback on your ideas.

Use parts of the draft proposal to consult with others & your audience.

An option you can also take logically is to do it all yourself. Many people in this course may not even read this section, but there is probably someone who either has a technical background already, or the ability to learn new things (most of us have this second one)

This path is hard, and will likely take months to maybe even over a year just to learn the basic skills to get started on your idea, especially if you’re starting from scratch or dont even know where to start.

this is the path i have chosen since my nft project quickly ran out of funds due to poor business structure, so I couldn’t afford to pay developers full time. more in that in the section about creating your own nft project. 

Doing it yourself

Depending on the blockchain you’re going with DAOs can be as simple as a few minutes setup, or as complex as making your own contracts from scratch and wiring it together with discord.

However if you want to use NFTs or other assets (tokens) to control votes on the future of your app (or take poll of deicisions) then you should consider this implementation sooner than later, or at least plan for it.

DAOs & onchain governance options

its hard. like… REALLY HARD & in many cases your first attempts will flop.

It is infinitely easier to build things however when you are documenting your process and sharing with others.

not easier in the sense of day to day output as this will add to your overall workload but easier in solving the hard parts of whatever your building aims to solve & easier because you will be able to market organically what you’re building while growing an authentic audience (it that’s the idea)

A Short reminder about building things

Taking Crypto Ideas to application

If you’re looking to make yourself into a one person business or run a successful business of any sort creating stuff, then you’ll need to make money or in fancy terms “generate revenue” This section is dedicated to helping you do exactly that.

The #1 way to make money online is to make it possible for people to pay you. 

It took me over a year of making $100-1000 a month through only ad revenue on youtube videos to realize that I could offer services and products to give people value & help them on their path… & they will pay me for it.

About 50% of this last month’s income ($11,600 at the time of writing) comes from freelance services, using my youtube channel & following people who reach out to me to help them make videos for their channels & especially so in my content area where I have been recommended by people to other people. 

If I want to take on more freelance work where I help people using my video editing, recording, & speaking skillsets then I can also reach out to companies or applications building most of the time they need help & will pay my desired rate for the help.

Using existing skillsets is powerful, you are usually always many steps ahead of someone else who is trying to get to where you are, or you probably have knowledge and skills you can use to help others. 

Wether you’re trying to create a personal brand on the internet or utilize skills to freelance so you can work from home: both are not as hard as you think especially if you stick with it & also learn new skills to stack on top of your current skillset.

For example, I went to college for computer programming, which has helped me to automate mundane tasks for myself which makes freelance work take less time. Or in the case, you learn the skill of editing videos & you already have a good understanding or marketing you can now market yourself to clients or market a course to help people that want to learn the things you know.

At the end of the day making money at your job vs working for youself follows the same equation, but when working for yourself you keep all the proceeds.

***Simplified making money equation: Provide value = Get paid***

Value can be educational, entertainment, or enhancing someone’s day or life in some way. It doesn’t always have to be you teaching someone “How To”, your unique perspective often provides value to many others.

Sponsorships are great if you have an audience are an amazing way to also monetize your personal brand, a newsletter is by far the easiest to get reliable and simple sponsors that pay good if you have a good reader base & open rate.

Productizing yourself: An overview

#1 reason people fail: They don’t have systems to get there, just goals.

Person A wants 10,000 subscribers on YouTube
Person A doesn’t have a system or habit to go from idea to video, so they upload 1 video every few months.

Person B also wants 10,000 subscribers on YouTube
Person B creates a plan to work on YouTube videos every day for 30 minutes, they upload 4 videos every month

Well obviously the person who has a system to work towards their goal is going to get there first… you’ve probably set a goal before & never reached it because you thought setting a goal was enough… you need a goal + a plan (a system) to have a chance at progressing towards it week by week.

People also tend to give up early they think to themselves “it’s impossible, ill never make it” when they do not see results in the first few days, weeks or even months… they fall into the valley of disappointment before the results come in & then they give up too soon.

$10,000 per month goal: why most people fail

$333 a day is $10,000 a month. it seems seems scary at first but there are millions of people making a lot more than this from the comfort of their own home.

Some examples to make around $333 a day could go as follows.

Sell 11 x $30 products or services, Sell 5 x $65 products or services, Sell 2 x $165 services or products.

Now the above examples are pretty obvious and probably don’t help all that much by themselves but then you think about freelance services: as you get better you can charge more, take on less client and make more money. 

Now let’s think about sponsored segments, you could do 1 of these a week and add thousands to your monthly income, the bigger your audience, the more you can charge. 

When you think about a digital product you might offer: a course, or something else that can be sold without you doing anything, you can add more value over time to products like these and also once again: charge more. 

Then scale as your business grows with how much value it provides.Get better at what you do and charge more, the internet allows us to scale towards billions of people.

If you stick with working towards this daily for a year you would be absolutely blown away with the results & you’ll likely have one or more income streams that don’t require you to do much that you can build on top of.

An important thing to remember is that I’ve also experienced first hand is how everything happened slow at first then all at once. 

All the work you put in for weeks, months suddenly results starts shifting and growth starts like wild fire from the areas you’ve been focused on.

## **The uncertainty: Ups & Downs**

When you work for yourself there is also going to times of uncertainty even after reaching a level of success. You working on a new skill or part of your business may take away from the money you make offering freelance services or another avenue of your businesses revenue.

Your output when you work for yourself, or rather what you make & how well your business does comes from a direct correlation to your input (what you put it, how much you work, etc). everything is on you when you work for yourself. 

Is it more stressful? yes, probably. Is it a path to choosing how to spend your time and have the ability to scale to and beyond $10,000 a month? also: yes.

### Final Tip: Overcoming daily temporary struggle

Every day still I have many moments where I drag my feet & don’t want to do something.

Overcoming these moments is the key to everything at the end of the day. The little things do matter & they will decide if you become 1% better that day or not.

Some more insights to making my own NFT project 👇

In 2021 I made an NFT project, it sold out & I made around $300,000 at the time paid in cryptocurrency (Cardano’s $ADA to be specific)Since then not only have I learned a ton of valuable lessons but I’ve also lost about 99% of the money I made from the project to do a few things…

- Crypto prices dropping (I held the crypto, didn’t cash any out at the high prices I received it at)
- Taxes (this took 70% of my crypto compounding with the price drop)
- Developer costs (Hiring full-time employees is unsustainable without a revenue-generating model in place or a long-term allocation of funds)
- Failed attempts to hire talent (artists, developers, community mods, non of which came to fruition publicly but still took a chunk from the money made from minting the NFT project)

## Preventing a downfall (or not)

The above list does a good job of outlining costs to look out for in a broad sense, but more importantly, is my place in these unforeseen costs & what I would do differently knowing these pitfalls.

Before we can go any further it’s important you realize & I admit two things.

#1: When creating my project I was more focused on making money than I was on the long-term vision for the project or giving back value to the people about to mint my NFTs. This lack of vision & short-sightedness for the sake of money is ultimately what led to my project not sustaining or performing well over time on secondary markets & in terms of progress for the community & brand around it.

#2: Even when a project does things with good intentions, it is not always perceived that way nor is it beneficial to the project. I made the mistake of adding utility because people were mad at me for a lack of progress & then pushed out something more short-sighted once again. 

Taking the time to look at what each decision means, in the long run, is the only way to remain sustainable & continue to bring value to the people around your community.

My place in my project’s downfall does not make me a victim, but more so an incompetent founder.

Even though I launched on a blockchain that only had NFTs for a few months, the cascading decisions were made with a lack of long-term thought & overall insight into sustainability (both on my own workload to make a living & the funds to push the project further development wise)

## Copy, paste, repeat

As time has gone on & more people made NFT projects I began to spot the pitfalls in nearly every collection, my own included.

All the new projects are doing the same things over and over again with new words or art attached, and consumers are in a constant state of wanting to make money first so the following cycle occurs…

People are excited about a new project, people buy said project, the project sells out, people are hungry for utility, people want to make money so they focus on floor price, things are happening too slowly, everyone moves on to look for the next big thing, founders get unmotivated, founders give up slowly, & then the collection fades in with the 99% of all other NFTs (dead & untouched).

Projects start to add utility for the sake of utility & ruin what could be a long-term vision by starting with a muddy form of utility that doesn’t add to the experience or value an NFT holder has.People don’t want to keep track of 1000 airdrops and claims & staking programs, they want tools, resources, & a community of like-minded people to interact with.Now that I’ve been able to step back I’m crafting my own vision on these principles, all in due time.

## Do I need to use NFTs?

To close this story up I want to add this last section that asks an important question that most people don’t ask themselves.

A ton of people are wondering how to use NFTs in their products, & that’s awesome… but a better question I’ve found is asking “Do I need to use NFTs for this to make it valuable to the user?” or “How does making this an NFT make the product or service better?”

Often times NFTs are used as a way to make a ton of money because they are seen as investments. Truthfully though NFTs are something you buy as a consumer first & an investment second.

NFT projects are ultimately businesses, at least most of them. & this means that projects that don’t operate like a business are on their way to becoming unsustainable if they mean to keep adding to it as a central authority.

In the end: adding NFTs to the mix of any business model introduces a requirement for long-term value & understanding how people will oftentimes see said NFTs as investments.

My key lessons to prepare yourself

First step in making an NFT project is first to have a plan, why do you want to make an nft project? What is you mission? What blockchain will you use?

These are all things I’m not going to guide you on but rather let you study other successful projects you want to model after or craft a new vision for yourself, by yourself.

Trust me you are better off this way then trying to follow some cookie cutter template, there’s plenty of that to go around.

So, you want to make an NFT project.

Usually the first step to minting NFTs is to setup a minting page that spits out the assets you want to mint. Below I will link resources for figuring out this aspect so you can generate all you need to make an NFT project on a few different blockchains.

Keep in mind that custom solutions may need to be applied as projects differ in requirements on a case by case basis. My main expertise for minting assets is in Cardano so that’s where I can help you personally if you DM me & we will lead with it too below.

## Cardano

This is where I made my first NFT project. Below are some minting tools you can use to generate not only a complete 10k PFP project, but also directly upload it to the cardano website with a minting page.

If you want to deploy a project on another blockchain, all the concepts mentioned above will still apply, I’ve put these blockchains as they have the most volume for NFTs as well as I’m very familiar with Cardano.

In the previos two sections we went over monitizing yourself, as well as creating an NFT project, now I want to go over some Crypto specific ways you can leverage your audience to monitize yourself.

If you want to pump and dump tokens or perform any malicous activity against your audience then you are not only likely doing somethign ILLEGAL, but equally dishonest and scummy for which your long term brand will suffer to succeed with on top of your self respect. 

Just don’t do it, quick money is bad money, & you’re trying to build something lasting here, this is how you ruin it in an instant. 

Sidenote: 90% of the emails you may get with people who want to partner up are either A) Scams or B) Partnerships you’re better without. Be picky what you choose to put infront of your audience.

Introductions & disclaimers

As mentioned in the prevois section, you can make your own NFT project… but there are also some alternatives that are much less stressful involving using NFTs to monitize your work.

Method #1: First off you can create an open edition, this is basically an NFT people mint to support you & often is centred around a single peice of art that people get the same of for each mint. Some open editions have utility but generally they are not looked at in the same light an entire NFT project. Please remember to give value as you take value along side this idea.

Method #2: NFTs to monitize with a platform that allows people to tip you but also offers them an NFT in exchange as a thanks, I’ve ran into platforms like this along my crypto journey: Creatious & even had them sponsor some of my videos. I think what they are building is cool so im mentioning it here.

Method #3: NFTs as access tokens. Rather than using services like patron you can use NFT gated systems through discord wallet verification + a specific collection of nfts you’ve made to showcase exclusive content or create a token only access community. Keep in mind though that patron is still a great model that allows you to be supported by fans with a monthly payment.

Monitizing can go beyond just recieving money, but also things in many cases as valuable as money in the NFT scene… WHITELISTS!! (a gaurentee you’ll be able to give someone else money to mint their NFT when push comes to shove)

In all seriousness though, Whitelists are often granted to people with a lot of followers & many people will even be willing to give you some for your community or even free NFTs for giveaways with them, this grows you & them at the same time.

I put this here so people can be aware of this & also remember not to partner with every project and do a million giveaways, people will get tired of it quick & i’de only suggest partnering with projects you genuinely like if any at all.

Another way to collaberate & possibly pull in some bonus ad revenue is to interview projects & people in the crypto space and leverege their unique knowledge to your audience. 

Collaborations

Advisory rolls come mostly to those who have specific knowledge on a topic, & after some time researching and persuing your crypto interests there’s a good chance you’ll fall into a place where you can advise projects or help people with consonsulting to achieve a desired goal.

I personally took up an advisory role which I get paid a few thousand a month (atm) in the project token for being there to help them manage parts of their social media and help with youtube content.

This takes up less than 4 hours of my time a month. Pretty cool :) I like the project and was involved for awhile for free then this role came up and I told them I could help them with their youtube content and showed them how then they offered the role.

Staking pools! A large portion of my income in my crypto business comes from here… YouTube adsense doesn’t cut it and this specifically on Cardano allows me to stack a ton of crypto while leveraging my audience to stake with my Stake pool.

Other Proof of Stake blockchains may have an opportunity for someone to leverage their audience but Cardano seems to be the best for this specific situation, either way: Look into it for your blockchain to see if there’s a way you can use social leverage in your favor to validate blocks and earn extra rewards.

Creating your own website allows further possibilities to productize yourself, take full control of your personal monopoly & is a lot easier than most think. As of now I have switched to [beehiiv](https://www.beehiiv.com/?via=jack-friks) to run my website on as its also my main email tool, and it does the job very well for both of my needs + is SUPER simple.

Overall having a website allows you to:

- add a level of professionalism & credibility to yourself
- have your own custom email based on your domain
- rank in Google searches through SEO (extra organic traffic)
- own your name so no one tries to pretend to be you
- take control of your traffic, see advanced insights to help grow your business
- increase leads quality from social media & have a place for people to investigate you

- outline yourself for people who want to see your humanity, and tell your story without forcing it onto people
- easier to sell products without a 3rd party taking a large cut
- save time with FAQs & public info (use this time elsewhere)
- & overall have CONTROL of your traffic.

- Landing Pages

- Information filled pages
    
    Info pages on personal brand type websites serve to establish your credibility, showcase your unique skills and expertise, and attract potential clients or people who want to collaberate with you.
    
    By providing info on you, with personal anecdotes, or a summary of your professional accomplishments (really just anything to add to your credibility), these pages aim to build trust and establish a personal connection with people coming to your website.
    
    Additionally, links to social media profiles, contact information, and testimonials can further enhance your reputation and attract new opportunities you might not have been offered without pages about your background. 
    
    Overall, the purpose of an information filled page on a personal website is to create a strong personal brand and differentiate you from other people.
    
- Calls To Actions
    
    The purpose of a call-to-action (CTA) on your website is to encourage people visiting to take a specific action, such as signing up for a newsletter, purchasing a product, or contacting you for a service you offer. 
    
    CTAs help guide visitors towards a desired outcome and can increase engagement, conversions, and ultimately revenue. 
    
    Effective CTAs should be clear, concise, and visually prominent, using action-oriented language that creates a sense of urgency or excitement. 
    
    Your website will likely be a Personal brand website, these often rely heavily on the credibility and reputation of the individual, so incorporating well-designed CTAs can help build trust and establish a strong online presence and allowing people to contact you will help you maintain valuable connections. 
    
- Services & Products
    
    Showcasing services & Products on a personal brand page can establish expertise, attract clients, create a clear path for visitors to follow, increase perceived value, and drive a LOT more revenue.
    
    If you have a place on your website that can tell people EXACTLY what you offer, plus a good call to action to go to a landing page, you can make a killer combo insude your full control because it’s all on your website. Get people to the landing page and don’t add links off unless it’s to buy the thing or take your desired action.

Choosing A website domain took me personally a few tried, but the good thing is you can always change it. I bought 4 domains before I actually ended up sticking with one…

A good idea is to center your domain around something you think you will stick with for years to come, something like your name, your main interests, or a core principle you go by that shows in your content, something YOU Like.

Like keeping a profile picture the same its best to keep things the same as your website domain across the years so people you have added value to can easily spot your website or profile & come in with a positive notion.

I bought from Google Domains as they allow an easy email setup with your custom domain as well to keep all business stuff in one place. I’ve also used GoDaddy many times to take advantage of their first-time buyer's promotion of a 99-cent domain.

### What is a SWIPE file?

> A swipe file is a place where you can come to & see all of the ideas & things that you want to use to excel your content or business.

Call to actions, Hooks, Design of copy, structure in content, & much more. Anything that you want to emulate, study or learn from that you see getting results or pulls you in, add it to your swipe file.

This doesn’t have to be an actual file, see the notion page template at the bottom of this page for a place to start swiping ideas so you can integrate them into your creations.

> If you’ve ever gotten stuck in your work, or not been able to get results from the things you’re produding, products you’re trying to sell, or people you’re trying trying to connect with then a swipe file is a great thing to have.

Need an idea for an opening message to someoneone you want to work with? Maybe you have one already in your swipe file that you thought was good from someone else contacting you.

Need an idea for how to catch someones attention in a tweet? Likely you’ve stored a few in your SWIPE file you can model your hook with

Having trouble selling your product & need a better landing page? Look at others landing pages that got you to buy, the ones you may have stored in your swipe file.

At first your swipe file will be empty, but as time goes on and you get nuggets added to it, a swipe file becomes a powerful tool added to your pocket.
